It began in 2013 when Camille Likes dreamed of recreating her original musical MONTANA: A Fire Burns in Paradise produced in Woodstock, N.Y. in 1978. After some rewriting, she developed a slightly different plot line which was created in The Villages in 2014 on the Lake Miona Stage
entitled MONTANA: No Fracking Way.
Realizing that most Villages theatre companies had their own agendas, she built the play from scratch and it was a tough learning curve.
She was helped immensely by Pam Henry, Mitch Mitchell (director and set builder), and Carol Azzarone(Asst. Director, Squirt Spivey-James, and Brian Dickson (Set design and painter).
A fun Cast developed & keeps coming back and
that was the beginning of our theatre club.
Since then we have gone on to produce
original plays (Trouble in The Bubble and The Golden Girls Move to The Villages, and MAE: The Mae West Musical) and Pulitzer-winning DRIVING MISS DAISY.
We seek to bring you fresh, unusual material that you have never experienced before.
